Pre-rolls are the convenient way to try a strain without buying a full eighth, and they are popular with customers heading back to the beach or a backyard. A standard pre-roll is felt within minutes, like any smoked flower.
Standard vs infused
A standard pre-roll is flower only. An infused pre-roll is coated with or filled with concentrate, which raises the THC content noticeably. If you are new or have not smoked in a while, start with a standard pre-roll and take a puff or two, then wait.
Using them legally
Massachusetts does not allow smoking cannabis in public, including beaches, parks, sidewalks and inside a car, even a parked one. Pre-rolls are for private property where the owner allows it. Unused pre-rolls stay fresher in the tube they came in.
