A back-road route, no highway needed

Carver is one of the few towns where the fastest route skips Route 44 and Route 3 entirely. From the center, take Center Street to Wenham Road, then Carver Road east into Plymouth. Carver Road meets Commerce Way at the edge of the industrial park, and Industrial Park Road brings you around to Collins Avenue. It is roughly 7.8 miles and about 16 minutes, past more cranberry bog than traffic lights.

North Carver residents closer to Route 44 can take 44 east toward Plymouth and turn off at Commerce Way instead.

Cranberry country and a cannabis farm

Carver is a farm town that grew up around cranberries, and it tends to appreciate the idea of a crop grown and processed a few miles from where it is sold. Triple M's Plymouth facility has grown more than three dozen strains of flower over the years, and every Triple M product on the shelf was cultivated, extracted or packaged there before it went through independent state lab testing.

Edaville and the King Richard's Faire grounds bring a lot of visitors through Carver in summer and fall. Visitors 21+ from outside Massachusetts can shop with a valid out-of-state license or passport, but cannot take purchases across state lines.

Planning around the Sunday hours

Weekday evenings are the easiest time to shop, with the store open until 8pm. Sunday runs 10am to 3pm, which surprises some first-timers. Order on the Plymouth menu and use the time you save to stop at Myles Standish State Forest, which straddles the Carver and Plymouth line.
