Cultivation
The cultivation team has grown more than three dozen strains at Plymouth over the years. Plants are tended individually through vegetative growth and flowering, and the team describes spending hundreds of hours of maintenance on each plant across its life. Flower is dried and cured before it is trimmed, weighed and jarred or rolled.
Processing and the kitchen
Extraction produces the oils for vape cartridges, concentrates and tinctures. The kitchen makes gummies and chocolates, and the beverage line includes CannaSpritzer, a cannabis-infused sparkling drink that was one of the more unusual products in the Massachusetts market when it launched. Triple M's philosophy is whole plant: the team pays attention to terpenes and minor cannabinoids, not only the THC number on the label.
Testing
Massachusetts requires every batch of cannabis and cannabis product to be tested by an independent, state-licensed laboratory for potency and contaminants before sale. Product for the Mashpee store makes a short drive down Route 3 and across the Sagamore Bridge.
That arrangement matters for freshness and for answers. When a batch of flower is harvested, dried and cured, the people who grew it can tell the budtenders how it smelled in the room and how it smokes. Before any Triple M product reaches a shelf, a sample from the batch goes to an independent, state-licensed testing laboratory for potency and contaminant screening, as Massachusetts requires.
